Elizabeth is the owner of Organizit, a professional organizing and business consulting company serving the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area.
Elizabeth started her career with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1983. She sought out this career because of an interest in working with people in a way that could make a
difference in their lives.
After working in dental hygiene for seven years, she worked as a residential general contractor for two years and then as a homemaker. At the end of her marriage, as a single mother, she started Organizit to pursue professional organizing full time.
She worked as a professional organizer for seven years before deciding to combine her healthcare and business backgrounds by going into healthcare management. From October 2003 to March 2017, she managed multi-million dollar senior care campuses. During that time, she honed her skills in communication, team building, recruiting, human resources, marketing, financial management, food services, facilities management, life enrichment, quality control, training programs, and safety management.
In 2012, Elizabeth reopened an expanded version of her business, Organizit, to include professional organizing, business consulting, and project management.
Elizabeth has a talent for creating “efficiency in flow”. When this extends to all areas of a business or personal life, the rewards are immense. More time, money, peace, joy, and comfort bring about success and a higher quality of life.
Elizabeth has completed successful organizing projects in homes, and for a variety of business clients in areas such as: assisted living, auto repair, auto sales, construction, corporate, dental, engineering, investment, mail order, manufacturing, massage therapy, medical, non-profit, property management, public relations, real estate, recruiting, research, retail sales, retirement living, and social work.
